This is the information I got from Nick News today:
A few times a year we produce a lighthearted and funny “Top Ten” style show. Right now we are in production for one such show called “Top Ten Most Annoying Things Siblings Say and Do.” The show is pretty straightforward—we will be traveling the country filming kids telling funny stories about their annoying siblings, as well as stories of how they themselves can be annoying, too. We came up with ten categories into which most kids stories will fall and we will be having the kids rank them in order to determine which category they find most annoying. We will be collecting rankings and stories via online survey at this address: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/JXXYNGT
The categories kids will be asked to rank and tell stories about are as follows:
"It's MOST annoying when my sibling(s)...
...tells on me, blames me, or gets me in trouble.
...copies me.
...doesn't share.
...embarrasses me in front of my friends.
...picks on me.
...takes or borrows my stuff.
...is too competitive.
...bosses me around.
...goes out of their way just to be annoying
...is so annoying but I can't help but love them anyway.
…doesn’t share.
We hope to conduct interviews with siblings at school (during or after class). The categories kids will be asked to rank and tell stories about are as follows:
"It's MOST annoying when my sibling(s)...

...copies me.

Other important details:
-We are looking for kids ages 11-14 with siblings 16 and younger.
-Within these kids we are looking for a mix of personalities, ethnicities and genders.
-We are ready to begin filming ASAP. We invite your students to begin by filling out the online survey!
SO, if you are interested in participating in this opportunity, you should begin by filling out the survey above and then talk to me on Monday, or send me an email, and let me know you are interested.
Just to be clear, the way Nick News works, you begin with an online survey, then a possible phone interview, and then, if they decide there are enough kids at the school that make it worth it for them to come out here and film, they will select a couple. So, filling out the survey doesn't guarantee you the chance to be on TV, but it's a start :)
