Today you will be learning about how to use Tween/TeenTribune.
First, be sure you have finished the notes from yesterday on the 5 different text structures.
Next, you need to take one of the articles on Homework from the front table. Please read this article. When you have finished, you will need to sign into the page below for your hour and post your thoughts on what you have read.

Finally, go to Tween/Teen Tribune. You will need to log in using the user name and password I give you. PLEASE PUT THAT SOMEWHERE SAFE SO YOU CAN HANG ON TO IT!
Follow these directions:
Explaining the 21st century: The world has changed a lot since the 20th century ended in the year 2000. Your are the first generation of the 21st century. Find a story that could not have happened before the year 2000, and explain why it could have only happened in the 21st century – your century. Answer in the form of complete sentences with correct spelling, capitalization and punctuation. Your answer should be posted as a comment on the article. You also need to take the quiz for whatever article you choose.
If you finish early, continue to read articles. You will get a small amount of extra credit for additional quizzes.
