Hello Students,

Today we will be taking a quiz on Chapter 26, then we will read Chapter 27. Finally, we will take a look at the quotes you gathered to try and match some of the “after” quotes to specific events in Cole’s healing process. I want to start by talking about your mid-quarter grades.

Sign in by telling me one thing that you did over the long weekend.

You will need your TSB book, a half sheet of paper, and your quotes packet.

Thank You,
Ms. Z

Learning Target: I can recall information that I’ve read.

Reading Questions

1.  What does Peter do to try and make Cole angry?
2.  What does Peter do to show kindness to Cole?

Things to think about in prepping for your essay:

I want you to go through your quotes (both “Before” and “After”) and try to determine what event or item changed that quality of Cole.

For example, if you have a quote that talks about how Peter was a kid that Cole “had
picked on many times before just for the fun of it” (7).

We would want to pick a healing exercise that Cole went through to help change this social behavior.

Perhaps you would pick the wolf dance because it taught Cole that wolves travel in packs to help one another. He learned that he should work with people rather than against them.

I will have a list up of the healing exercises you can choose from. You may need to go back and read these parts again if you don’t remember what Cole learned from the exercise.
